This morning I started my new job. Since I'm working in a new city I'm going to really have to test the waters as far as what time is best to leave to get there on time and to avoid traffic at all costs. When I interviewed for the job I was excited to find out that my school is on the "A" schedule, which means that school starts at 7:30am and ends at 2:05pm every day. What I did not take into consideration was the time that I would have to wake up and then leave to get there on time. Today I found out that teacher start time is 7am. Yowza! This means that I'm going to have to leave the house around 6:15am, which means that I'm going to have to get up around 5am. Woo hoo hoo...
So, in order to optimize on my sleep I have decided that I'm going to have to make some changes in my daily routines:
- shower at night - I hate showering at night but that just takes too much time in the mornings.
- pick out my clothes the night before - I'm going to lay them out like when I was in Kindergarten
- pack my lunch the night before
This should get really interesting once Harper arrives.
I've always been a night showerer. I can't stand sliding between the sheets with stubbly legs and hair that doesn't smell fresh. Why don't you like it?
ReplyDeleteI hate showering at night because:
ReplyDelete1) Sometimes I get hot while I sleep which = sweat
2) My thin hair is even thinner after sleeping on it.
